A tragedy shocked residents of the Parque São José neighborhood in Belford Roxo, Baixada Fluminense, on Wednesday afternoon. A child died brutally after falling from the back of a motorcycle driven by his own father and being hit by a bus following behind.

According to witnesses, the child lost his balance and fell directly onto the road. The bus driver was unable to stop in time and ended up running over the victim, who died at the scene.

The Fire Department was called, but upon arriving at the address provided, the child was already dead. The road had to be partially closed, causing traffic congestion in the area.

The Civil Police are investigating the case. Details will be determined about the circumstances of the fall and whether there was any recklessness or mechanical failure. Neither the child's nor his father's names have been released at this time.
