The incident involved a coal dump truck without a license plate driven by Dedek (38), a resident of Keluang, and a red and white Yamaha Vixion motorbike without a license plate ridden by two students.
The motorcyclist, identified as Dafa Arya Firnanda a resident of West Supat Village, suffered abrasions on his right hand. Meanwhile, his friend, Aden Aprian suffered serious injuries in the form of a broken right thigh bone, lacerations to sensitive areas, and a number of abrasions on his legs.
The seriously injured victims were immediately evacuated to Sekayu Regional Hospital for medical treatment.
